Seasoning your Grill
By seasoning your grill, you will ensure that it is perfect for cooking time after time, reducing the rusting process and keeping it oiled ready for your next outdoor feast.
Before your first use, you need to coat your grill plate with cooking oil. Make sure you use plenty as during this first seasoning, the steel will absorb a lot.
The grill is the same as a Wok, some rust will no doubt appear, simply soak some paper towels in oil and rub sea salt into the rust spots until they lift away.
Ensure that you oil your grill once it’s cooled down after every use, you could also keep it in sealable bag to prevent the oil getting on other surfaces when storing it.
